Raising money for A Child's Heart
About
A Child’s Heart’s aim is to remind children in care homes, shelters and refuges across the Midlands, that people care and that they are not forgotten, especially at the magical time of Christmas.
The charity fund raises and receives donations of toys, books, educational gifts, toiletries, confectionery and age-appropriate gifts for young people. The team make contact with those in need and find out specifically what they would like for Christmas and as far as possible within a budget ensure that these gifts are sourced, beautifully wrapped and delivered.
Why
I have chosen this charity because I have witnessed the hard work, tireless input from the volunteer team to source, wrap and deliver over 1,500 gifts last year.
The time, effort and detail but into this operation by so many selfless people led by Jules Armstrong is phenomenal.
