Our story

The why
behind
the calendar

Empowering women through art and storytelling, we celebrate resilience and support charities that change lives.

Our Mission

Introducing the Ladies First Charity Calendar, a heartfelt tribute to the strength, resilience and compassion of women empowered by their own stories and the causes they support. This is a platform for these inspiring individuals.

Ladies First Director Tracey McAtamney’s 60th birthday was the inspiration behind the special calendar, honouring her vision to make a difference while uplifting the voices of incredible women. Join us in celebrating their journeys and supporting the causes that matter to them.

Through our artistic calendar, we aim to blend visual storytelling with empowerment, showcasing the beauty and courage of these women. Each calendar purchase helps fund their chosen charities, fostering a community of support and inspiration.

The venue

Mallory Court

The calendar was photographed at Mallory Court Hotel & Spa, a country house hotel set in ten acres of grounds on the edge of Leamington Spa.

It is a working country house hotel with two restaurants and the Elan Spa and was named England’s Best Large Hotel at the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence in 2025. For a project about women of every age standing in front of a camera, it gave the photographs the stunning backdrop they deserved.

Mallory Court is one of the calendar’s sponsors. The launch night itself is at The Rep in Birmingham.

The creative team

An amazing team of professionals and creatives has played a vital role in bringing this idea to life. Their dedication and expertise guarantee that we deliver an engaging and impactful message and calendar.

Following in famous footsteps

In 1999 a group of Yorkshire women produced a calendar that raised £6.5 million for leukaemia research and became a film. One of them, Tricia Stewart — Miss October — has given this project her blessing.

We are proud to have their endorsement and determined to be worth it.
