Raising money for The NTCG ROCK Community Food Bank

About

The NTCG ROCK community foodbank exists to serve individuals and families who are in need. The foodbank often runs out of supplies and the church, are having to maintain supplies from limited donations. Our local police force, funeral directors and sometimes a local supermarket support the foodbank from time to time.

We receive referrals from social services and provide assistance for individuals fleeing domestic violence. There is great demand on us as a charity and need your support to assist this local community of Hockley/ Ladywood that is the location of many people from deprived backgrounds.

If you are able to support our foodbank this will be extremely helpful as we assist people in need.

Why

I have chosen my church because of the meaningful work it does within the community. It supports people from deprived backgrounds, assists those fleeing abuse, and provides a safe environment for those in need.

Each Saturday the church runs a soup kitchen where homeless individuals are welcomed and given a warm meal. It also maintains a food bank to support families and individuals who may be struggling.

The church relies on continued support to ensure it can keep helping others and reaching out to those who need it the most.

I have seen first-hand the difference this support makes, bringing comfort, dignity and hope to people during difficult times. This is why I feel proud to support my church.
