About

Women Acting In Today’s Society (WAITS) is a lifeline for women and families when they need it most. Every day, WAITS supports women seeking refuge, safety, and strength as they escape domestic abuse and begin the journey toward a new future. Established in 1993 WAITS provides, practical support, safe accommodation, access to legal support, counselling, and workshops for women from Diverse backgrounds.

Why

I have chosen to support Women Acting In Today’s Society for the Ladies First Charity Calendar because I have seen first-hand the incredible impact that collective support can make. Staff, ambassadors, and members of the public have already helped raise hundreds of pounds for this charity, and I wanted to do my part alongside running the day-to-day business of the Charity.

Women Acting In Today’s Society are seeing an increasing number of women reaching out for refuge and support to escape domestic abuse. The donations raised through this calendar will help the charity continue their vital work, providing safe accommodation and essential support for women and their children as they rebuild their lives. Supporting this cause is a meaningful way to stand with these women and help create a safer, more hopeful future.
