SAMM (Support After Murder and Manslaughter) is a UK-based national charity that provides emotional and practical support to people bereaved through murder or manslaughter. Run largely by trained volunteers who have experienced similar loss, SAMM offers peer support through one-to-one sessions, helplines, online forums, events, and wellbeing activities, helping members navigate grief and the criminal justice process in a safe, understanding environment. Membership is free and gives access to ongoing support, newsletters, and community connections.
