Purple Community Fund (PCF) Set up by my best friend Jane Walker in 2002, I was a trustee for 17 years stepping down in 2019 and visited the Philippines in 2013 as a volunteer for 3 weeks.
The Purple Community Fund (PCF) is a life changing charity supporting families living in some of the toughest conditions in the Philippines. Working in communities where parents struggle to meet even the most basic daily needs, PCF provides holistic programmes in education, health, nutrition, and sustainable livelihoods. Their approach empowers whole families: helping children stay in school, offering parents skills training and income earning opportunities, and creating pathways out of long-term poverty. Rooted in dignity, community and opportunity, PCF’s work transforms lives enabling families not just to survive, but to build safer, more stable, and hopeful futures.
